I don't know how they will pay for televised poker - 80% or more of the ads are for online poker sites. Without that source of cash I don't see how poker can stay on TV.

Excellent point on the loss of all the folks getting in from the online satellites - they will all be from overseas now...

Perhaps it will be a chance for the small local clubs to grow some. Sadly not in my town - they have banned poker rooms.
