NCR Banknote of the Day.... (Spragg)

Today’s selection was especially chosen for the Knit-picking Spragg! vbg It is probably the crappiest note in my collection. It is a 1939 issue $1 Dollar from the British Common Wealth (until 1976) of Trinidad and Tobago situated only 7 miles off the coast of Venezuela in the Caribbean Sea. The small island of Trinidad contains one of the world’s largest asphalt bog. On the island of Tobago Birds of Paradise live, the only place outside of their native New Guinea where they can be found in the wild.

The note features mountain scenes with sailing ships and palms on the front and Coat of arms at center. The note is limp, torn several places into the border, dirty, nice 'rounded' corners, and it even has some nice graffiti on the back! I would grade this one at “Almost UnCirculated”. I am confident that Spragg guy will not concur with my keen eye to the grading of this note. rofl Since there are none known in this condition I will quote the “Good~Poor” condition value of $1. ENJOY!
