Yikes! Talk about bleeding chips!...

When these came out several years ago, I tucked away a set of the three, figuring that later on I'd have a set to trade. Well, it's now later on and I pulled them out to set up a trade.

Knowing that Chipco has/had a problem with red ink, I was especially carefull to slip the plaque into a plastic, zip-lock type of bag. I also slipped each octaganol chip into it's own small zip-lock bag and then slipped all three into an over-all larger zip-lock bag.

Well upon removal I noticed that the plaque had bled through the bag it was in and also bled through the bags that the octagonal chips were in. In storage I had sandwiched the plaque between the two octagonal chips, so the narrow white edge around the inlay designs are stained pink, but only on one side of both chips!!

(This is not shown in the scan in this scan. I will scan the bad chips later.)

My point here is, I was using an arts and crafts type zip-lock bags (not suitable for food) and I guess they are not air-tight, and definately not ink-tight!!! sad
