I got this in my email account today. I haven't used this account since it became illeagal to play poker online in Washington but still, this can't be ignored. It is more than a little bothersome to me, and I hope you too.

Subject: Notice of account closure.

Dear Tom

You may be aware of recent developments in the United States whereby
online gaming regulations are being more strictly enforced.

Although the onus is on you as a player to ensure that you abide by the
regulations of your state, DreamPoker has taken a decision
to stop accepting purchases and play from players who play in your
specific state.

We therefore request that you refrain from making further purchases or
playing further on our site.

We further request that if you have any remaining balance in your
account that you withdraw that balance at this stage.

We will leave your account unlocked until October 11 2006 in order to
facilitate any remaining balance to be withdrawn.
After that date, you will need to contact support to assist you with
the withdrawal process.

We would like to thank you for your support of our site to date and
express our regret for any inconvenience which this may have caused you.

The above is why it is very important for all people who enjoy poker online to call your State Senator today.... Only 1 hour left. See the below email from the Poker Players Alliance president for details.

Please Call your Senator – Sept. 12th

Dear PPA Member:

Tomorrow your urgent action is needed! As we shared with you, on
September 12th the Poker Players Alliance is organizing a “Phone March” on
Capitol Hill. From 9:00 AM Eastern Time, until 5:30 PM Eastern Time on
Tuesday, September 12th, we are asking all PPA members and anyone
interested in defending poker to call this toll free number, 800-289-1136
and be patched through to one of your two U.S. Senators in Washington
D.C.

Note: The 800 number will only be active between 9:00 AM EST and 5:30
PM EST on Tuesday September 12.

The threat to poker is real. Please forward this information to
everyone you know who cares about poker and an American’s freedom to use the
Internet. We need everyone possible to make their voice heard on
September 12th!

Sincerely,

Michael Bolcerek
President
Poker Players Alliance

Take Care,
Tom Hanson
