Ted doesn't get it, and neither do too many good Americans. We ARE all actively at war and have been ever since we were attacked here on our homeland.

Bringing back the draft would only diminish the quality of our armed forces. Every single man and woman serving our country now is there because they want to be there. It is a truly professional fighting force dedicated to the job at hand, not cluttered with people who wouldn't want to be there, no matter where "there" was/is.

It truly saddens me that people like Kopel either don't get it, or they intentionally broadcast incorrect info as factual.

I was in an airport trying to catch a plane today. The moments of silence observed throughout the building in memory of those who lost their lives 5 years ago weren't a silence of those who don't get it. It was true pain and sorrow. It was also pride in those young men and women who choose to put their lives on the line to make us all safer.

I know you don't like Bush 43. That dislike shouldn't color your or anyone else's views as to the real task at hand.
