PokerStars WCOOP opinions wanted

So here I am in Iowa yesterday, race postponed due to rain. My flight home wasn't until today (canceled due to weather, so I'm still in Iowa). Last night I wanted to play some poker, but didn't have any cash in my PokerStars account to play in the Chippers game, so I looked for another way to play that meant something. I played in a qualifier for a WCOOP Limit Hold'em tourney using FPPs.

The results....

PokerStars Tournament #31489022, Limit Hold'em
Super Satellite
Buy-In: 2250 FPP
36 players
Total Prize Pool: $810.00
Target Tournament #40000007 Buy-In: $135.00
6 tickets to the target tournament

Tournament started - 2006/09/10 - 20:48:00 (ET)

Dear toofast,

You finished the tournament in 1st place.
You qualified to play in Tournament #40000007 and are automatically registered for it.
See Tournament #40000007 Lobby for further details.

If you choose to unregister from this tournament your account will be credited
with 215.00 W$. W$ can be used to buy into any qualifying special PokerStars event.
Visit our web site at http://www.pokerstars.com/tournaments.html for more details.
=============================================

The tourney that I qualified for is on a race day. It'd be just about impossible for me to play in it. There are other WCOOP events that I could have the time available to play, but they either aren't hold'em, or they aren't the same buy-ins that "my" tourney is. I checked the link above for tourney info, and it states that not all "special" tourney's allow for unregistration and keeping W$ to transfer to buying into another event.

I could easily unregister and enter an Omaha Hi/Lo event with my W$ (perfect for me time wise), but Omaha Hi/Lo isn't my best game. I have enough FPPs to enter another qualifier, but given the info on the tourney pages, even if I finished high enough to get W$, I don't know if I could also unregister and transfer those points to another WCOOP game.

I'm asking for opinions here. I have the option of adding cash to my W$ to play another tourney that would be more comfortable to me, both in the game being played and the start date and time, but I'd rather keep it cheap by playing on what I've already won, and I'm not rolling in the dough right now (this Iowa rain has already cost me a couple C-notes). What would YOU do?

There is some serious cash involved in all of the WCOOP tourneys, and I'd like to take my best shot at it.
