Yes, "walked" means that a player took the chip home and did not cash it in. If it were the only one that left the casino, it would be a very valuable chip. However, placing chips in lucite was usually done by the casino to give as gifts or awards. It is then worthless to a chip collector other than being a souvenir. It is even worse than having a cancelled chip (drilled, notched, etc.)
