Interesting news. While in Tunica this weekend I heard that Jacks daughter (or daughter in law)has bought 51% of Fitzgeralds at least in Tunica due to a non compete clause forced on Jack. They have made numerous changes indicating that something is going on. Many upgrades have already happened or are planned. Story is that the hotel is being expanded to the back side of the casino which would allow them to move the 3 restaurants off the boat itself to expand the casino. They were actually adding doorways on the back side of the casino's second floor when I was there. Talk also about adding a poker room. They ripped out a bunch of $.25 slot machines and replaced them with $5 and $10 machines ($10 machines at Fitz??????). Apparently quite a few of the Horseshoe employees moved over there also.
