Hey Steve! Here is her account of...

...the day from her E-Mail to the BARGE list. Andy - Las Vegas

I moved tables 4 times today, for 5 total tables, which is just not an ideal situation, Very hard because as soon as you start to know your opponents it is time to move.

1st table lasted less than 5 minutes and broke before I could take a blind. 2nd table lasted about 20 min. 4 people busted, most of them badly. Loved the table, lots of action, but it broke too. Because of all the action and the fact that I was moved in between the button and the small blind meant I never had to take a blind here either.

Next table was with Alan Cunningham and the same tough Indian player (who was now on my immediate left but playing tamer because of Alan). Guy on my right was a bit annoying and wouldn't shut up - but was also amusing because he never once had the right read on me. Anyway, I grew chips steadily here. Big pot involved me flopping a set of nines, filling on the river and getting action the whole way. I had aces and kings a few times for small action. Some other pairs had small action too. I made one major semibluff with a nut flush draw and took it down on the flop. I also bluffed a pot when I had presto blind versus blind and the board had a four flush on the turn. I was certain he didn't have a club, but wasn't certain my presto was the best hand. This was against guy who couldn't read me, who said afterwards he put me on KK with the king of clubs,

Next table had Annie Duke on my right - which wasn't too bad. I also built chips here but I don't remember a show down here.

Then it was off to the crazy table. Prahlad Friedman was at the table playing very aggressively. Other players were just all over the place. 1st hand at this table that I play and get action on is 64s which I raise from the cutoff trying to steal. The big stacked BB calls me. Flop is j64 rainbow - ding! I bet and he check raises. I thought he said he raised 80k, but in actuality he said make it 80k, so I was then forced to put in a min raise because of my error. No problem - in fact I hoped he would take advantage of the pot being reopened and raise again - but he did not. Turn is a K - he checks I bet and he calls. River I bet he calls and says he has a pair of 6's. Ding!

But now no one knows what to make of me because it was the first hand I played at all in two and 1/2 orbits and that is what I show, Next hand I play is AQs. Cutoff raises to 50k when blinds are 5-10k. I make it 150k. He jams. Oops, I thought his chips were in 40k stacks but they were in 30k stacks and now I am pot committed - I should have jammed it or called preflop. I don't like the call now and hope he has a pair. But unfortunately he has AK. Oh well, I should have asked for a chip count before I raised. But ding! Flop is Q high and I win and hghn. I feel horrible about it but also happy my misjudgement in his chip stack didn't cost me.

So now I have 1.6 mil in chips. Woo-hoo

Next hand I play and get action on I have KK in the SB. Mid position raiser opens for 50k and I reraise to 150k and he jams. I call for about 850k total. Doh! He has aces. I do not manage to suckout here.

Only other hand I play post flop is defending the blind with 54s. Flop is Q63 with two suited cards not of my suit. I check raise the flop. Turn is a T and we both check. River is a flush card that does not help me (I think an 8 because I remember another straight beng possible). I bluff 300k and he calls with AQ. Oh well. In general this is a play I like to make sometimes because it is how I would have played a flush draw too. BUT given my weak table image here, I maybe should not have tried the river bet. And maybe should have even given up a blind with little real showdown value. In general I am OK with the play, but situationally my timing was bad.

So now I am down to around 400k which is about where I end the night with.

I am tired, so please forgive the lack of editing here. But I want to keep ppl posted.

Tomorrow is another day and I need the sleep so I can win a bunch of chips.
