An all-time record for USPS delivery... grin

This one totally blew my mind... in the first week of August 2005, I ordered a chip from a highly reputable dealer... check sent and received... package sent but not received.

A little over two weeks later I contacted the dealer and let him know that the package had not yet arrived... he said, wait until 30 days from the date of shipment and if you still haven't received the package by then, I'll sent you a replacement.

Fair enough... I put it on the back burner and soon forgot about the transaction entirely.

Well guess what walked in the door yesterday afternoon courtesy of my friendly USPS mail carrier? You got it... a familiar looking, yellow padded envelope... stamped "first class mail"... addressed perfectly... correct postage... and dated "Las Vegas Nevada - August 5, 2005!"

That's a new record for me - almost 51 weeks in transit! So have hope if that package you're anxiously awaiting takes a little longer than it should to arrive! grin
