If it were mine, I would finish cleaning it up (I agree with Dick) and put it in my collection. TCR doesn't mention anything about green paint, and I believe the only reason it is priced so high in James book is because he must have one already. That's usually how he values items in his book. If it was painted by the previous owners, I am sure it was after it was taken out of play and not used in the casino in the painted condition. Perhaps was a way of cancelling them.
