The Casino at the Radisson

Yes, the Radisson calls its casino, "The Casino."

It's a very nice casino, with a nice poker area (5 or 6 tables). Their poker tournaments were at difficult hours, so I never made one, but the cash games were fun. I never saw a lot of players, and had to leave one game when too many people left, and head over to the Excelsior. Too bad. The Poker Room Manager was very nice. He even showed me a book of rules for a local game, Brag or Chip, that he put together.

Here are their chips:

I thought someone once showed a picture of a $3 poker room chip, but they denied ever having one (repeatedly, everyone I asked).

They were VERY reluctant to part with any snappers. After, great persistance over a number of visits, I got enough for Chuck Mades and myself! vbg

Here are their playing cards (I have extras of these, but I don't think Archie need them) -

And their players card -

Overall, it is a very nice casino. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting. Here is a sign of their World Poker Tour tournaments (which began life at the Excelsior):

Actually, the final table for each year the WPT tournament has been held has been at the Playa Linda in a restaurant on the beach side.

The Playa Linda has no casino of its own.
