Hospitalization, Ebay and The Chipboard

Howdy all! Well, after my last post I had a bout of very low-blood pressure that required me to spend numerous days in the hospital. My blood pressure would fluctuate to where getting up out of a chair would cause vision flares and cause me to nearly pass-out.

But the horrible part is that mood/attitude wise, I feel great!

So I've been away for a while. I want to reassure any folks I owe money to, that YES, you will be getting it. I had to have my roomates send out MO's as I took too sick too fast to stop alot of my Bidnapper auctions from firing. Some of the others I had owed, but was too sick to do anything about. (Jim, you fall under this category, and I'm so very sorry.)

I was scheduled to have another major surgery on 7/17, but my cancer markers rose. I'm now going to be admitted yet again, for more chemo.

This chemo I have to go be admitted for is because the tumors are very close, and, or are invading major arteries. They want to shrink them before starting any surgery.

I'm trying to stay up-beat throughout all this, and believe me, I really appreciate all you folks send ing me words of encouragement!

But I'm getting frustrated. Here's an example: "My Urology Doctor had left the UMASS Medical system and passed her patients on to her "Fellow/Trainee". He was examining me and asked to see the "open" wound I have because of an infection I incured. This was only about a few weeks ago he saw me. I had the infection back in March.

So here I go and disrobe. He looks at me, and my excess belly and thigh skin (I had lost nearly 80 lbs by this time due to the Cancer), and asks if I had lost alot of weight recently!!!

Now I grew up in the 60's, and back when I was a kid, you didn't question Doctors. But I so wanted to yell at him..."Didn't you even read my CHART????" "Yeah! I lost nearly 80lbs., since I got sick!!!" I did mention the weight loss, but it didn't seem to matter to him.

So now i'm going in again for another (my second wave) of Chemo. This wave I have to be admitted for though. I will be in for three days straight, then four days off. The doctors are trying to see if I can do it as an outpatient though, so I can still get some work hours.

Speaking of work, I've been disabled since February. I was able to go back to work on a limited basis last month. Social Security finally caught up with my case. They are approving me for August, and I will recieve payments in September.

So I guess I was a non-entity in SSC's eyes from February till now! Yet during that whole time, and quite a bit of it wasn't covered by MassHealth, I paid most of my bills and Meds through my own pocket! Oh...and I saved all those bills...and they are NOT re-imbursible!

And if all this wasn't bad enough, I installed a program from my Parent Internet Company, Earthlink. I'm a subscriber to a "child" company Mindspring. But nonetheless, it's the same. The software I installed to increase my experience, hosed me! Yeah I access the web faster, but my mail is hosed!!! I Have 7 email addy's with them!

I'm tired of complaining, and tired of typing... so I'm gonna go now.
