Brian Watts won our one table satellite on Monday night. It was heads-up between Brian & Jay Sands for quite a while. Brian had Jay all in & Jay caught a spade on the river for a flush. That left Brian with very few chips. But, he caught an 8 on the river for one straight to get back in it. And then a runner runner straight to take a big chip lead. Brian then won the final hand with a pair of 8's, with Jay only having 7's.
Brian will be playing in the $1,500 tournament today at the Rio. The 9 players below will split 50% of anything Brian wins.
