I read that Friday will be the last day for Klondike, guess al marooni will have to get hisself trespassed outta some other dive in the future. Gold Spike ended table games so just crack, slots and meth now. Was a good place to go for a $2 blackjack game and unusual fungus. Ho gone and Stardust and Frontier looking to get shuttered for a shave and haircut. Sigh.

Heading up to Reno after the Big Show and I may get to watch them pry the signs off the Reno Hilton. Stayed there way back when they were the newly built MGM Reno but missed the Bally years entirely. Going to be hard for the new guys there to match the Hilton for neat LE chips, they had plenty of great ones! Going to step into the time machine and hit Tahoe and Crystal Bay for that old-timey feel. Finally going to take Mt. Rose Hwy and see if I can find the ghost of the Glass Crutch.

Off to work today and tomorrow, then Las Vegas. Gee, three days off in two months, yep, I'm ready for The Riviera!
