I read the BB fairly regularly, and I didn't know you were just in Vegas (until now). Had you started a thread announcing that you were going to be there, expressing a desire to meet other collectors during your visit, I'm sure you would have gotten some responses, and I don't mean only negative responses.

During the time I've been involved in this hobby, the club, and this BB, I've been on one side or the other of some pretty heated discussions. Some of those involvements resulted in meeting people face-to-face to just sit and talk eye-to-eye. Every one of those resulted in civil discussions, and often times a friendship based in mutual respect for the other person who only had a different opinion on some things. Common ground was always found, and disagreements might remain disagreements, but personal animosity ceased.

Ongoing personal attacks serve no good, no matter if they are being done by Gene, David, or you. I think Gene having that chip made and publicly posting it here as a reward for behavior was/is over the top. All it has done is added fuel to a fire that was already burning too hot.
