It is easier to get bees with honey, rather than vinegar! Simply put, when you are going to "A CASINO CAGE" to buy newly released chips, try being nice! The people working in the cage are not there for your chips ONLY. IN fact if they had a scale of importance that would be DEAD last!!! This is an extra job bestowed upon them for you! You are not ENTITLED to these chips! If bad types of behavior continue I'D BET that no more chippers will be in cage lines getting mass quantities of brand new chips. Last night While anxiously waiting in line at a MAJOR STRIP CASINO for some new chips. I was flabbergasted by what happened in front of me. A man (Whom I later find out via the net) to be a well known chipper could not get exactly what he wanted so he became down right mean and rude. He was being a total disgrace to any collector of any kind! After a long search for his desired chip, one was found but not to his liking, so he flicked it back into the window, saying that one was used and no good. Even though they were un-circulated. If I was that worker who went out of my way for that response, I would have then said now you get nothing, NEXT real customer in line. Then the entire collection would be released onto the tables! Then lets see A.H. find the "Un-circulated Barrels" that he supposedly deserves. All of this Barbaric behavior over a set of chips that the person is selling on their website for only an 18 dollar profit per set! He wanted 20 total sets that would only be a 360 dollar profit! All that stink for that! I bet the old lady behind us with 2 buckets of quarters had a more valuable transaction to make. I was appalled and when I went home I looked this guy up. I could not help but hear his name as he loudly spelled it out right after dropping someone else's name for better results. I come to find out this guy won the CCT&GCC 04/05 award for recruiting people into the hobby! Hope he is using a different tactic for recruitment then he does for acquisitions!
Even after yesterdays warm welcome and helpful people on this board, I am left with a very bad taste in my mouth!!! After a quick lick of my new chips, its not them..........
