I recently purchased some chips from another club member, sight unseen, and amongst those chips was this slab of 3 Las Vegas LE Chips. When I first opened the package I thought they had been framed, but it didn't take more than a second glance to realize I just purchased my first set of SLABBED chips. Yes folks, chips are still being slabbed by at least one company. The name of the company is NGC (Numismatic Guaranty Corporation) - The Official Grading Service of the ANS & PNG. I don't see any grading on them, but I'm not sure how you would grade NEW Limited Edition chips. The person that sold them to me said he had a few sets and had broke some of them open. I'm just about ready to break mine open, but right now they make a good coaster for my drink and it is supposed to be a hot weekednd here so I'm thinking they may SERVE a good purpose in a few hours when it's drinking time...
