He said they would polish them up before use.

He also pointed out there have been two T molds and 2 hub molds in use. One of each was sharper and shinier. If you have a number of chips to compare you can clearly see this.

Some Diecard and Nevada mold chips are shiny but not all. These are pretty good, recesses very shiny in real life. Detail on the 'cards' much better than seen on many other 'new' chips from these molds. Maybe I got them from 'cups' without much use.
