I was not deceived grin

Gene can confirm I immediately spotted something was up.

Here is something you may not know which actually led me to look closer anyway.

There are two sets of weave molds (probably because Borlands orders were so prolific he wore one out grin )
They produce slightly different finishes. At first we thought ASM had converted them from compression molded to injection molded but Jim told us that was not the case and it was just slight change in composition/mold difference.

One mold produces shinier chips (that look plastic). That was the one in use at the time the Shenandoahs/doehs were made. Your chips are from the other mold. The inlay sizes differ fractionally also.

I could not tell from your pics whether you had done as you did or whether someone had in fact replaced inlays on inlaid chips. Either way those inlays could not have come from those chips.

Now, did you receive my email? All the chips in the scan I sent you are genuine vbg
