Definately Painted On By Casino Personnel grin

There are many of the older inserts that were dabbed by hand by the manufacturers. They are sloppy but the color goes all the way through.

On your chips, we can see the brown base color showing through some of the diamonds where the outer surface is painted yellow. You can also see streaky brush strokes which would not appear in clay.

There is a California Club $5 green chip in which single inserts were painted on. They are the same inlay series as the 8 green $5 chips with different color clay inserts.

Then, there are $5 & $25 Tonopah Club chips with insert colors painted on the edge only.
