First of all YOU never paid much more than face for any chip. Secondly, I disagree with your opinion. There are several chips from Binion's Horseshoe I still consider extremely difficult to obtain and can be/or will be in the future considered rare.
For example: The $500.00 grey arrowdie with three lavender inserts.
I like you purchased it originally from Pete Rizzo. He ran out. He again purchased a few more that were available and PAID three times what you and I paid and is now selling it on his web site at $299. A BIG bargain! When these are gone it is my opinion the chip will reach a $1,000 in no time flat.
If Benny ordered more than one box I would be very surprised.
The second chip that is still extremely difficult to find are the 50 cent red and yellow pies. These chips have NEVER come out in any quantity and it is my opinion they never will. I could go on and on but will leave it at that.
