Will, to me, it depends....

I am not specifically familiar with the issuing history on that chip. It is possible, and not unusual for the first issue to be void of UV tagging and for the tagging to show up on subsequent re-orders.

I also know that UV tagging sometimes wears off or fades over time. I don't know what type of UV light you have, but I use an industrial version vs. the flourescent tube type. It is so strong that I can generally use it with the lights on, and I have noticed that it will reveal UV tagging that the flourescent lights do not. My point being is that the chip you have may be tagged, you just can't render it well.

Also, it is possible that the chip may have missed the tagging process.

I do not have an example of that chip, but this is a good place to ask the question of others that have a UV light and that chip.

Does anyone else with that chip have one that seems to sans any UV tagging?
