Has anybody heard of...

Willie the Weeper?

I bought a "Gambler's Crying Towel" on Saturday, and it is a willie the weeper creation. The characters are cartoons in various gambling set ups. They appear to be in the 1940s. They also have references to various dice combos like a Natural, boxcars, and little joe. But they had two I never heard of Pheobe for a 5, and a 'big dick' for a hard ten.

Has anybody ever seen something like this before? It is the size of a dish towel, and the colors are very vibrant. it is in very good shape, not tears or stains I can see.

I also bought several ashtrays, a miniature deck of cards (1990s), and some postcards.

They had a wooden chip holder, with wooden chips. I was afraid that these might be what people call paper chips (but have learned to the contrary). There were I believe 50 blue, 50 red, and 100 white chips, they were made of wood, and you can see the grain. The holder, which is wood, was made for ther chips (or vice versa). Has anybody seen anything like that.

I also went into a coin store because they told me they had chips. I was amazed to learn that Slots of fun chips are extremely rare, and worth many more dollars that I would have guessed. And slot tokens are so rare as to need to be locked into their own cabinet.
