No Rake Online Poker - NCR

I was surprised to find out that 1 of the online sites that I had tried in the past had decided to no longer charge a rake on their poker (it is "rebated" every Monday). I thought that was a little unusual so I played a few hands and waited to see what happened. Sure enough the following Monday I had $16 of rake credited back to my account. If you've played much poker you would probably agree that the rake tends to really add up over time. If you're interested try it out. The name of the site is www.worldpokerexchange.com. Since they no longer charge a rake there are no more signup bonuses or referral fees. So far the only downsides I've seen with this site is that they're not well known (only had 1000 players the last time I logged on) and they only allow you to play 3 tables at a time.

I'm not sure how large they are but this site sponsered the 2005 London Open. A few weeks ago Mr. Spragg was actually selling some of the tournament chips that were used in the event.

Personally, I'd like to see some of the bigger sites like Party, Stars, etc. lower their rake. If you use the program Poker Tracker you can actually see how much rake you've paid in. Poker Stars saves a history of all your hands and will send them to you on request. If you load them into Poker Tracker it will show you
how much rake was paid. Since I play well over a hundred thousand hands of online poker a year it is staggering how much the rake actually adds up. Poker Tracker is also a great tool to figure out which players are the "rocks" and "maniacs" and to figure out if you have any "leaks" in your game. You can find the program on: www.pokertracker.com.
