Thanks so much to all that have donated so far. I cant believe the response in less than 24 hours since I came up with the idea.

I spent quite a bit of time talking with Barry W. and we discussed several options.

Since it is too late to get this lot in the catalog we can still offer it as an un numbered lot during the auction. However the downside to this is that only people attending the auction will be bidding and many of them dont collect personal chips. Unfortunately since it is not a numbered lot, those mailing bids in wont be aware of the lot.

A better idea that was proposed is to sell this lot as a silent auction on the convention floor. Once I get a final count on the total number of chips I will find out how many frames we need. I will then try an solicit a donation from someone to either donate the frames needed or possibly discount them to a price where I can purchase them.

Once these chips can be displayed, we can set up the display at:
1) The Club Table (This will help with repeat visits to the club table and other sales of club merchandise
2) The Building Fund Table - (Not sure if they will have one this year)
3) The Auction Table (Barry made this offer as well)

At any place we can set this up and have a silent auction that ends at a specific time during the show. Not only will all those in attendance be able to place bids, but I will make a post on the BB a week or so before the convention and accept proxy bids so even those not attending the convention will be able to bid. I hope to get to 200 donated chips so we will probably need 2 large frames.
