Stu, I love your turtle, man, but I am going to respectfully disagree with you. How about this: You're in KMart and the time for the "blue light special" is almost expired. You're running for the cash register, item in hand, you can see an open register and--"sorry folks, time's up--your half-price item just went back up to full price." I know, silly example, but there's always going to be lines drawn for policies when you're part of an organization. I guess a lot of folks would put the item back (and that's your prerogative), but there's going to be those who want to buy it anyway, no matter if it's full price...
