Jetons are plastic or acrylic "chips" used mostly, but not exclusively, in Europe. Plaques are also plastic or acrylic but usually rectangular and for the larger denominations. Plaques and jetons are very colorful and highly prized by those of us fortunate enough to have contracted "PLAQUE (JETON) FEVER".
