I've just finished reading a whole big bunch of posts on the club dues. (And special thanks for Archie for posting the scans from the magzine over on the club board so I could figure out what was being talked about.) Seems to me the increase in dues may push a number of us frugal types to pony up the money for a life membership before the dues increase. If enough of us do it, I can just see the problem down the road as the officers try to figure out how to balance the budget with all those "old freeloaders" who bought life memberships way back in 2006 for a measly $300. I can imagine the complaints down the road about the people who have been getting the club magazine for decades for that $300. Heck I predict eventually the postage on four issues of the club magazine will cost more than that $300
