Hi Jim, The Paradice was in E. Peoria, Il. It was owned by a gentleman named Joe Rafool. He was still alive when they opened the Paradice Riverboat Casino in 1991. In a symbolic gesture they bought the rights to the name from him for $1. As an interesting side note my partner and I looked at his equipment several years prior to the opening of the riverboat. Everything was stored in an old shed, the roof had leaked and everything was in bad shape. I asked if he had any chips, he thougt they were at his daughters house but wasn't sure.
