I will concede that on certain issues there is a strong solidarity of opinion, especially among long term members. That is expected of any group you can name. Those positions shape what the club is about. I also acknowledge sharing the views of those members on several issues (slabbing and the building fund are among them).

I have argued with many of the elder members of the club, including Gene. I've also gone to gene and asked for information, and assistance, which he has given freely. I've seen him do the same for others.

If a person gets personal I think it is wrong, and if two people can't get along, walk away, it is only a web discussion, not life or death.

I asked earlier who were the people in this 'clique', I ask again. If you have a link to where Gene said that about the emails, I would be happy to go look at it.

Remember this site is not connected to the club, many of the same players, but if this is the corner bar, the club is the union meeting hall down the street.
