The fact that they are well-meaning does not mean that they are right or that the issue shouldn't be open for discussion.

No, the concept that some members are better than others is bs. It exists here like an organizational cancer and the sooner the club rids itself of it the better. Every dues paying member not only has the right but the obligation to question the leadership and the policies of this club.

You would like to think that's true but you know better.

I don't dismiss anyone (well except for Mr Trimble) and address each post to the best of my ability. The reality is that it is always the same folks who try and shut up anyone who is in opposition to the status quo.

You can't point to that stupid slab free pledge list and say that it is supported by the but its there with your name on it so it must be a good thing right. You don't want to address the actual pros and cons of the stupid list, you just want me to shut up about it because it might impune some "well meaning people".
