Just Back From Vegas

Wow!!! Another great trip to Sin City.

Quick Report:

Best meal: Bellagio Buffet, with the sweetest crab legs, best prime rib and beef wellington and too many great tastes to mention, followed by the best deserts on the strip. (My humble opinion of course).

Best results at a table game: Placed $60 in roulette chips on the table with 15 of them piled high on #20. This was at the Rio Casino.
I must admit that I almost fell out of my chair when the croupier placed the dolly right smack on top of my 15 chips on #20. Payout was $525. I had just blown $135 at the craps table so this was a nice recovery.

Worst results at a table game: Lost $300 in 10 minutes at crapless craps at the Sratosphere. Damn I hate that game!!!

Best time at a table game: Poker at the Imperial Palace. Was comped $2 per hour of play netting me $60 in comps. Won money while playing in several of their tournaments as well as 2-4 limit and 1-2 no-limit. Met some terrific people at the tables, very social and friendly. Great dealers and staff.

Coolest surprise: While playing poker at the Imperial Palace a smiling Scotty Nguyen stopped over and said hello to the table and then made a beline over th the craps tables.

Funiest Story: By business partner was at the 2-4 limit table with me. He got involved in a hand with a real a-hole. The a-hole actually passed out at the table seveal time in the middle of hands. In one case every one folded their hands leaving my buddy Mark and the a-hole as the only remaining players. Mark caught his card on the river and bet the pot. The dealer had trouble waking the unconcious moron and just as he was about to award the hand to Mark, the moron came out of his stupor squinted at the board, was told the bet was $4, threw out his four chips and fell into a deep coma. When Mark flipped his cards he realized he hac misread his hand and thought he had K-10. Turns out he had K-9...lost the hand to a comatose player. Had to lvoe that!

More to come got, to run an errand now.
