Yesterday morning, as is my custom, before heading off to work, I check my email and then posts to the CCGTCC Message Board and then Greg's Message Board. There were no issues in doing any of that yesterday morning.

When I get home, after settling in, I do the same thing, however yesterday when I went to my bookmark for Greg's Message Board I got a failure notice of unable to locate. Although the error messages are different, I was unable to get to Greg;s BBS from my home computer using either IE or Netscape!!

I could get to all other locations on Greg's dedicated server, like the CCGTCC site, the BBS for the Slot Card Club and the Silver Strikes. But I could not get to www.thechipboard.com !!!!

I ran Norton, looking for a virus, there was none. I did a shut-down/re-start, several times to no avail. I even delted cookies and cache and made other adjustments, but nothing worked.

I called Greg for technical assistance, but alas, that failed too. By then it was very late so I decided to sleep on it and try again the next day.

Well, early this morning, following my normal custom, I tried to visit Greg's BBS (using IE) and it came up without any difficulty! Over night, nothing had changed. The computer was left on, IE was left running, everything was as I left it when I went to bed.

From 6:00 pm to at least 11:30 pm yesterday, I could not get to thechipboard. Aside from the withdrawl issues, I was beside myself.

Does nayone have any idea what may cause such a situation?
