High stakes poker game---on tape (RR)

Tournament poker shown on TV was interesting for me at first, but has since become boring to view.

But now we have access to a real poker game. The Cincinnati Kid, Brady Hawks, Maverick and the Big hand for the little Lady all sitting down in a real live no limit poker game with the participants playing their own money (not tournament chips.) Each buy in for a minimum of $100,000 ( I think Daniel N. Bought in for 1 million.) These are the big names in poker. Admittedly by some to be millionaires one day and trying to find a stake for the next game tomorrow.

In the regular prolific tournament games, all they have at stake to lose is the $10,000 plus or minus. Of course as Daniel N. Admitted in the recent Card Player (and as a take off from Senator Everett Dirkson,) $10,000 here and $10,000 there can add up to money.

In any case, if you like watching some real poker, you might like to borrow the first 6 hour VCR taping of this match. It’s your for the asking and if more than 1 person wants to see it then it will become a round robin. If you would like to reimburse me for the postage, that’s fine. If not, that’s fine as well.

Keep in mind that these games may be replayed on the gaming channel so if you don’t want the tape, just keep your eyes peeled for the rerun listings.
