Hi Mark, The speaker is not a secret, we just feel it shows a little class to let the club President make an official announcement. I'm sorry you didn't like last years speaker. This will be our third speaker who is a member of the Gaming Hall Of Fame. I doubt if any other organizations our size can make say that. Before Mrs. Williams started helping me I would start in November making calls to people I know in the business and that usually involved just getting a personal secretary to take my call so I could explain our program. I have many hours and quite a few of my own dollars invested in this project. I have been turned down by 18 industry people to date and for your information Steve Wynn's secretary gave us a price of $50,000 to speak. I don't know where the idea of we had all these Harrahs people speak came from. Only Mrs. Williams and Mr. Geoglein had any connection to Harrahs. Mr. Goodman, Mr. Stupack, Mr. Boyd, Mr. Mahue, and this years guest did not. If you or anyone else would like the job of getting our speaker you are more than welcome to it.
