Expedia Room

Visited a chipper who booked through the net and this is what he got.

My Riv room the last two conventions was fine. Clean and adequate. Not any view to be had from that end of the Strip anyway. Seems as if I recall the HVAC being kinda weak but the service is typically Riviera friendly, enthusiastic and responsive. Just do the staff the favor of leaving your tip on a note stating "For Housekeeping". BTW, although I like to affect being snobby, I ain't that fussy.

As for alternatives, the tradeoff for some of the options you mentioned would be huge convenience-wise. While The Clown, The Ho (no mo), Stardust and Wynn are pretty good for ease of convention access the others would be pretty miserable for chipping fun. By the way, when we convened at the Tropicana, we got rooms in the Island Tower. A cool feature of the Island rooms was the mirror on the ceiling over the bed! When you look at he ceiling of a Travelocity room you may find...
