SVCC Wins Big With Casino Opening

Tuesday, July 12, 2005 at 9:30 am Hooters Restaurant and Owl Club Casino, Spokane Valley's newest dining and entertainment venue, will be presenting the Spokane Valley Community Center (SVCC) with a check for $10,000. The contribution to the Center is the result of donations made during Hooters' VIP Party, which was a pre-opening, invitation-only event held July 8, 2005.

Hooter's corporate representative, Jennifer Zmurk explains, "The VIP party is our way of thanking our local vendors and community members that have help us make our new restaurant and casino possible. That evening food and beverages are free to our guests, however, we request that they make a $10 donation at the door to benefit the Spokane Valley Community Center"

"Our July 8 event was a great success,and what's particularly gratifying for us it that while VIP parties have been a part of Hooter's openings across the nation, the $10,000 check we'll present to the Spokane Valley Community Center is the largest amount of money we've ever raised for a local charity at a VIP Party," she continued.
