In the past, for reasons of my own, I have refrained from posting notices of family illnesses, deaths etc.

But a situation is occurring at his moment whereas I feel a word of encouragement from the chipper friends and acquaintances of Bill O'Day would be helpful to him. Bill prefers not to post to the board but “lurked” in several times a day. Many of the “good” chips I sell either on the board or on Ebay are his.

He has been ill for over 18 months and the big problem is that none of the specialist can find out exactly what’s wrong with him. He has been in the hospital for way over 2 months, lost all functions with his kidneys, (on dialysis 4 times a week) at 6'3"or so, weights roughly 100 lbs, cannot digest solid foods and in pain during various times of the day and along with other things, has just developed major heart problems.

BUT. The good news is that he has a positive attitude which is why I feel that a word or two of well wishes from people he knows will surely be of help to him. He does not have access to a computer so I will relay any and/or all well wishes to him either posted on the board or via email to me.

May God watch over this wonderful retired Air force "Chicken Colonel" A great friend to those that know him and a great American.
