Check those duplicates! Another Australia variety

Well, I done it agin'!

I intentionally bought a chip that I already had.
The price was right and the shipping was free (included with other purchases), so I thought I'd take it to use as a trader, or maybe a quality upgrade.

When I compared it to the chip I already had, I found that the print in the hot stamp was totally different (fine print vs. very bold print).

So now I have two varieties of AU JUP 1b (now renumbered AU JUP 1b1), and the new bold print version, AU JUP 1b2.

Always, ALWAYS, compare those duplicates, guys. You never know when something new/different is going to pop up.

I may have posted this one before, but if I didn't:
A couple weekd ago I bought a duplicate of AU REE 1a2. Same deal as above, good price and free shipping. This time I didn't even have to compare it to the old chip. I could see right away that the tail(bottom left) of the $ was truncated/chopped off. It is not just a bad hot stamp. There is no impression for the tail of the $, and therefore nothing for the hot stamp to fill.
Also, when I did compare the two: On the back of the chip (indentified by the circular impressions inside four of the diamonds) I notice that the circular impressions on the new variety were much deeper than those on the older chip. Quite obviously a new die for the large diamon mold.
And so, another variety of The Reef large diamond mold. I dub thee, AU REE 1a3.
Damn, this is fun!

Have fun, guys, and check those duplicates!
