This is the message that I just sent to Ray. It had to be said, but why do I feel so shi^^y about it?

Ray,

I wanted to send you a note regarding the Silver Slipper chips you are currently selling on eBay.

I am very disappointed that a gentleman of your experience and knowledge of collecting would stoop to such a level and offer those chips as something they are not. I know that you know EXACTLY where those chips come from and that they are not from Las Vegas. Heck, the photos on the Canadian Chip Guide site were donated by you.

You have responded to several people defending the lineage of those chips and are completely misleading them as to where those chips came from.

Ray, I trusted you and your reputation as one of the experts in the realm of Canadian chips and trusted your opinion and experience.

As a result, I will not harvest chips for you, ever. I will not buy chips from you and I will never trade chips with you.

As far as I am concerned, your behavior is despicable, dishonest and disrespectful and will ultimately drive new collectors away from the hobby. The hobby does not need people like you.

Please remove me from your email lists and do not send mail to either my home address or my work address. I am not interested in hearing a reply and how you would defend this behavior.
