My correspondence with the seller...
In Response To: Interesting find on Ebay? ()

I sent the following questions:

Can you tell me how many of these inlays were found?
Can you verify that they have not been printed as reproductions of the original inlays?

The seller's response:

First Off , I don't sell reproduction items and say they are originals !!!
Please read the ad and it will tell you that these came from a Maine Estate of a woman the worked making Poker Chips at the Burt Company for 58 years. The burt6 company is now CHIPCO.
As for how many were found what does that matter?

And my follow up:

I didn't mean to offend you, but I didn't read anywhere in your listing where you stated they were original. I must have missed it.
As for your question of why it matters how many were found, knowing the number that were found is extremely important to me as a casino chip collector in determining just how "rare" an item is. Chip collectors are leery of paying too much for an item that suddenly shows up out of the blue, lest they discover when more show up that they've overpaid. Of course it's up to you to decide how you respond to such a request. Your reluctance to be up front about how many were found may lead some to be cautious when bidding. Good luck with your auctions.

If I get another answer, I'll post it here.
