PokerGuard.com is making custom card guards for poker players, very reasonably priced (usually $40-something plus S&H). You can customize both graphics and text. Theirs are one ounce of .999 silver. I got quotes on some gold and multi-colored ones that started at $200, so this is definitely a good option.

My new custom guard further commemmorates my renowned Special Probability theory. The front shows A-K of hearts and back shows details of the theory (scan is low resolution so as to fit, real coin looks much better).

As the story goes (and it's true), I was holding the A-K of hearts when the universe whispered the theory to me. I won a monster pot, thus ending a Guinness Book record-style streak of consecutive losing hold'em hands.
