Grew up in nearby Leonardo, NJ and spent many a summer afternoon and evenings in Keansburg. My Dad used to go to Dixie Lee bakery almost every Sunday. Rode the bumper cars and carousel often. Used to roller skate twice a week in Keansburg when I was in high school. Took the ferry from Keansburg pier over to New York several times. Brenda is from East Keansburg and we met in high school. Did some serious drinking in Jerry Sheehan's Big House and played basketball at Balbachs. Had some terrific meals at Ye Old Cottage Inn on Raritan Bay. Brenda and I had our wedding reception in Bucky Smith's back in 1958!
