NCR · Las Vegas Question...

I'm hoping someone who lives in or around Las Vegas can provide an answer.

Whenever I'd visit the Paiute Tribal Smoke Shop at 1225 N. Main Street, I'd pass an area with trailers and small buildings that housed Native Americans. I believe there were two blocks. A third block is empty, surrounded by a chainlink fence with a sign stating it's an "Indian burial ground."

Last October, we were driving back to the downtown area and I noticed the trailers were gone from one of the lots and there was construction equipment on the site.

What is going to go there? Is it still Tribal owned?

My thanks to anyone who can provide an answer. grin
