1926 Illegal Gambling in Fair Lawn, NJ

I found this while reading something on a Fair Lawn, NJ Bulletin Board. Thought it was interesting. Barry

"One other interesting thing - in 1926, six roadhouses were shut down in police raids for engaging in illegal gambling. One of them got special mention in the news. Warren Point Manor had been visited the night before by the police, who had seized all the gambling equipment. When they returned, at 2 AM, gambling was in full swing once again. Anyone ever hear of that place - gambling and illegal hooch right here in Fair Lawn..."
