press conference was that the first people he thanked were the Boston Red Sox & then the Cubs management (at least that's how I remembered it... ). It does appear that at least the Dodger owners & GM are making an effort to secure the talent to turn the team back into a winning one. Time will tell, though...plus they've got some major work ahead restoring their (the Dodgers' & the McCourt's) reputations!! Steve B
