Shill Bidding is bidding that artificially increases an item's price or
apparent desirability. eBay does not allow a seller to bid on their own items. Additionally, family members and individuals living together, working together or sharing a computer may not bid on each other's items.

When we take action against Shill Bidding, intent is not taken into consideration. We do not allow members who are linked (family, friends, etc) to bid on each others
items. The reason we must be so strict in regards to this policy is to
prevent the possible appearance of auction manipulation and fraud.
