I have never heard of a court in NY sending copies of documents to callers. You have two choices that I know of: (1) go in person to the court, request the file and make your own copies in the file room; or (2) get a PACER account at the federal court's web-site and pay a very small fee to look it up and download the information you want. I think it takes a day or two to activate your account. Also, it really helps to know which New York Federal Court (there are four), unless you don't care about time or the small fees. However, I will respect the wishes of the board of directors and wait and see what happens.
