A longtime friend called me tonight and told me that she got a job offer in Glendale but she prefers not to live in L.A. or Orange Counties but rather commute. One of the towns she is considering moving to is Palm Springs, Now I pulled up my trusty Microsoft Streets and Trips and enter directions from Palm Springs to the address of the company in Glendale offering her the job and it came up that traveling from Palm Springs on the I-10 (Ventura Freeway) to Glendale is 110.1 miles and a 1 hour and 36 minute commute, Now my question is, is this information accurate? and from your experience how is the traffic truely on I-10 in the morning to Glendale and in the afternoon back to Palm Springs? Clear, Slightly Congested, Heavily Congested, A Freakin' Parking lot.

Any information you can provide ASAP would be appreciated because I'm told the offer for the job expires on Tuesday.
